What is Strict Foreclosure?

Question:
I've paid the back payments owed but didn't know I had to mail in a motion to appear so I just received notice that there is a motion for Strict Foreclosure..Can someone explain this to me? What can I do?

Answer:
1. Contact the lender and see what they have to say.

2. If the foreclosure is being handled by a trustee check with them to see what the status is. Due assume that some of the time mistakes are made so checking with different people can be best.

3. Though you can not afford a lawyer losing the house might cost more. Be careful.

4. You said you mailed in the back payments. In some cases the lender does not have to accept a payment. Did they cash the check? Do you have proof that they received the payment and that it was accepted?
one they cant go back on .or against
get a great lawyer or lose your house.
Call your lender or the Trustee right away! Make sure they received the back payments and that they are not continuing to pursue foreclosure!

Good luck!
They are just about done with your foreclosure.

Don't wait for the forms, you will loose your house before they get through the process, because it is SOON...very very soon.

Call your bank, they will most likely stop the procedure, but you really need to call them and get someone to intervene. The process is sort of automated.

Good luck.
