Another question in regards of chapter 7 and foreclosure?

Question:
My attorney is not longer answering my question in regards of the short sales after the discharge was done he told me that he is not longer my attorney. My question again since he is not longer my attorney, can I still do a short sale or is too late for me? I have not received the 30 day notice yet from the mortgage and their attorney. Is there any hope for my situation please let me now!

Answer:
Contact your lender. Since you're no longer in bankrtupcy, they should speak with you directly. Ask for homeowner's assistance or loss mitigation. By short sale, I'm assuming you have a buyer for the property, but the sale price isn't enough to pay off your loan. It's up to the lender whether they will accept a short payoff or not.
Need more info. Was property included in BK?
How far behind are you in payments?
Have you talked to lender?
What kind of loan is it?
