Have you ever had your house foreclosed? What are the main causes of foreclosure?

Question:

Answer:
My reason was somewhat financial irresponsibility. Financial strain. Living above my means, struggling from paycheck to paycheck, then as soon as I lost my job, things went down really quickly because I was terrible with saving.

Lenders try to work with you because in the long run, they lose a lot when they have to foreclose a home, it is more beneficial to them for you to make payment arrangements to get back on track. It takes months before they go so far as to foreclose.

Other people go through foreclosed because their health made them unable to work, or they lost their job and had a very hard time finding a new job.
No. Nonpayment
Not making your mortgage payments.
illness, and then the type that party and do not pay their house payment
No. Right now the main cause of foreclosure is people getting ARMs (adjustable rate mortgages) and now that the interest rate has gone up their monthly mortgage payments have jumped $200 or more a month & they can't make it.
fortunately that has never happened to me... i would look it up online, though, if it's a possibility for you
nope never

here are a few causes
ppl buy houses they can't afford
ppl get layed off or hurt and can't work
ppl have more bills then they can afford
taxes go up and makes the payments go up and ppl cant afford it
