Sir, some of the Banks and Finance co. are intentionally withholding the post dated cheques of customers even after foreclosure of account and one time settlement.Instead of returning back cheques they are presenting to customers banks without their notice. What is the legal remedy... please?

Keep a record of the date they tell you that they received the payment and a copy of your check that was cashed on a particular day.
