Shouldn't IRS contribute to save homes from foreclosure too?
Question:
Answer:
Owners/Lenders should be responsible for their own actions/decision.
The IRS does not work on Property tax - the county assessor does and if you screw up your loan only you should be responsible. Everyone is tired of cleaning up the messes of others because they can not be responsible.
The IRS's job is to effectively do what congress said for it to do; And I would like our government to keep the USA from going bankrupt.
IRS is not responsible for property taxes, that is state and local government.
Why the lenders are in trouble? - a group of willing and yes greedy co-conspirators of bankers, home builders, mortgage brokers and some home buyers thinking that the Fed govt. will bail them out of their greed and stupidity.
Only the home owners with good reasons for their plight should be assisted; If you own two Cadillacs, I am not gonna help. Bankers, home builders, mortgage brokers can just figure out their own answers.
