Foreclosure party is my kind of party. Invite me dude. Where is it? I'll bring my sledge hammer & my friend's tow truck. lol.
Sad to say the bank will hardly be surprised, nor take it personally if you have a Foreclosure Party. I am not sure the party is a celebration, someone is losing their home, because they borrowed money and have not been able (or willing) to repay this loan.

The bank is not exactly making off with much, they have not received loan payments for several months, it has cost them probably $30K to initiate Foreclosure till the day they take possession of the property, and hopefully if they are lucky the house wasn't burned to the ground. By the way the bank had to insure the home once they began Foreclosing because history has proved fires and catastrophic damage are common in Foreclosure periods.

Please don't side with the homeowners, nor the bank its a no win situation that both sides would have negotiated a compromise in lieu of the Foreclosure.
