Well, you must have no self pride. Everybody loses here, why make it worse for yourself. Work on self improvement, why destory something which is not in your makeup.
If you are not filing BK and you are simply letting your house go you have to consider that the bank can get a deficiency judgement on the home between what you owe and what they sell it for. The worse condition you leave the home in the less they can get at market and therefore this thing could be hanging over your head for years to come. You have to understand your credit is not riuned forever with the proper steps you could own a home within 2 years.
It wouldn't be right to trash the place, but you should try to have one more enjoyable night with your friends before you have to leave!
i think the worst answers here are the ones encouraging distruction. must be the lowest and most desperate attemt to gain the upper hand. which you will not have since it is no longer your home. why get made at the lender? just demonstates ingorance.
