That was good 2-5 years ago in the US, sucks now.
You won't successfully 'make a living' doing this. At best, you can invest in such situations as a means of possibly making extra income. Lenders faced with mounting foreclosures are not giving away these properties for 'a song'. They want out of them every penny they can get.
