Where can I find data on the number of mortgage deliquencies on a county by county basis, also foreclosures?

Question:
I'm trying to track foreclosures and track delinquency rates on mortgages (# of % of people who are late on their mortgage payments). Thanks!!

Answer:
foreclosures.com will let you see how many foreclosures there have been within the past year either by state, city, or zip code. It will tell you when it was filed, when the person bought the house, how much they mortgaged it for, and what the current value of the house is. You can get that much information for free. They do have additional information that you can get for a fee, but I have no idea what that is as I'm not paying them. But, sounds like what you are needing is all part of their free section.
Start with your local gov. record office like county record/admin office. That is the place where it all start when a property became delinquent and official foreclosure ball starts to roll.
Foreclosure.com is a site I recommend for this type of information. If you would like to track the information on your own and in your local neighborhood, I would visit the local county clerk's office. Foreclosure claims are public knowledge, and you should start there for your search.

Hope this helps...
