How do you get a list of pre-foreclosures?

Question:

Answer:
Check with your County Recorder's office they usually have a list which you can purchase or receive through email. Most of the property on there will show an auction date for Tax Lien's and Foreclosures just because it's listed does not always fall through.
The best way is to actually go to the county's or city's courthouse, they will have a board with all of the properties that will be going to sheriff's sale. Its time consuming but better than paying someone else for a list only to find out none of the properties are available.
You can usually find them by looking for Notice of Defaut (NOD) in your local newpaper.
