Are you still able to rent a apartment even though you have a foreclosure against you?
Question:
Answer:
Depends on the criteria of the person or agency that approves your application.
Tip:
1.) If you have recent bad credit, eviction, bankruptcy or foreclosure then probably stay away from the larger property management companies.
2.) If you are looking at renting from an individual or smaller property management company that does run credit and check for evictions then tell them about your credit up front before you even pay for the credit check and if you can come up with an extra large deposit or a few months rent in advance then it will probably persuade them to take a chance on you.
3.) Rent from an individual owner, they rarely run credit and if they do then it is even more rare that they check for evictions. Then even if they do they are more likely than anyone to give you a chance. But please don't screw them over because times are tough right now and if an individual owner gives you a chance and you do them wrong you could easily make them lose their nest egg because they usually don't have the cushion in their budgets that the larger apartment complex's have.
You can always rent an apartment, if the Landlord does not know about the foreclosure.
