Go to city hall where you live. Ask if they have a list of homes with taxes past due.if the lady behind the desk likes you she can look it up, otherwise she will tell you she cant help.
if you are looking within a specific neighborhood, look for the crib with the unkept lawn, and go back to city hall and ask to see the tax bill on that one...there is a very high percentage it will be overdue
If you look on realtor.com, look for houses that say "bank owned"
