Pre-foreclosure listing service- Is this a scam?
Question:
Answer:
I haven't heard of this company. I've been in the foreclosure business for a while and have only dealt with Foreclosure.com. They have the most listings I've seen and...their information is accurate unlike most foreclosure listing services.
I haven't done business with them, but if they are as good as their word, then you are in.
My question would be where do they get their info? And where are these homes?
Most people that are at the point of losing their homes tend to try to sell them themselves, very few actually go out and sign up with a company.
I haven't done any business with Craiglist but I have to say you can obtain foreclosures list without paying money, you can contact banks, credit unions, or even the Government building of the city you plan on moving to, they will provide you with lists of foreclosures homes who have taxes due. Another way you can check to see if Craiglist is legit is to go to the better business bureau website which is www.bbb.org.
scam
No need to pay for something you can obtain for free or help from a real estate agent. If you're reloacting to Southern California, I can help. I have access to all foreclosure listings and I deal with foreclosures on a daily basis.
You can also try www.realtytrac.com for free for a week. Great website. However, I would choose a reale state agent who is extremely knowledgable with foreclosures. Shoot me an e-mail with what you're looking for and I'll find it for you.
