Legit or not? Steve Maletos' Fast Cash in Foreclosure's program?
Question:
Answer:
Never heard about this guy's program, but you can learn this stuff for free by reading real estate investing books at your local bookstore. There are so many ways to own and control property, using different methods and means that the average real estate/loan professional is not aware of. So try to learn as much as possible. I run a foreclosure business and in the face of these "easy money for no work/risk" foreclosure programs I wonder what could I be doing wrong (read sarcasm here). There is no free lunch in real estate. We work hard for our money and we take risks. Anything that promises different is an unlikely bet.
Put it to you this way. If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it. The concept of real estate has been around for a VERY long time.
I enjoy real estate and it's challenges. Hopefully you'll find your niche.
Best of luck.
These scam artists advertise on late-night TV for a reason. Ad rates are very low and they're hoping to snag half asleep insomniacs before they are thinking clearly.
Did you not notice the disclaimers that flashed on the screen? "Results NOT typical" (Emphasis mine).
Next time you see one of those infomercials, fire up the VCR or DVR. Then freeze frame and read the microscopic print at the bottom of the screen. Most of the time it will tell you that you probably won't make any money and possibly even that it's intended "for entertainment only."
The only one making money is Steve Maletos
