At what point can you start to look for a house to rent after you're sure your house will go into foreclosure?
Question:
Answer:
You are still going to have to pay the rent till you get the evictionnotcie so you might as well not pay for a new place till you have to go...right?...sounds like $ is an issue, you can start looking now for sure but there is no point renting yet when you will have to pay for your current place till the eviction becomes effective...good luck...
You can move out of your home whenever you like, they can't make you stay.
you shouldn't be on answersroom.com you should be trying to keep your house doncha think?
GET A LAWYERASAP!!
Sounds like you are giving up. Just pay your mortgage and you will not have to worry about this.
Honey, only time someone can force you to live somewhere is if you're in jail!
Move out before and ask if you can do something that wont give u an eviction. Right now I have one and its so hard to gat another place no one will except you on less its in a ghetto area. It took me an year for some one in a nice area to take me in wiht an eviction. And this was just friday. So ask the owner if u leave now they can not give u an eviection you left cause u wanted to thats better than eviction on your back.
Good luck!!
You can move out but you'll get arrested for felony house abandonment. To rent another house while you still have one is house adultery.Your first house can take you to court and make you pay the mortage.
I don't fully understand the question. If you are going into foreclosure it is because you didn't pay the mortgage. I guess you are free to leave anytime up to the point you get evicted. Are you renting a house that is being foreclosed upon?
If you are the debtor that is being foreclosed upon, I would suggest moving out before the foreclosure so that your future rental company won't see the foreclosure on your credit file if they choose to pull it. There is no guarantee that your credit doesn't already reflect "foreclosure proceedings started." But a proactive move on your part might help in setting up your future residence.
If you are renting a property that is being foreclosed upon, then scout out your next dwelling, but why not stay until you must leave?
Best of luck
Well : according upon the "Tendant or Renter" they usualy must
decide in that matter other wise wait until you raise enought money for a house ok ?
Absolutely you CAN move out sooner. They can't make you live there, and it's not really going to change what you owe to the mortgagor if the proceeds from sale don't cover what you owe + expenses. But if you're in financial trouble so deep that they're foreclosing, basically you're not paying any "rent" where you live now so it's probably desirable to stay as long as possible before you start paying rent to someone else.
Everyone thinks that a foreclosure is a nasty thing, but the only party taking it personally is you. Chances are, if you call the mortgage company or trustee or lawyer who's handling the foreclosure and ask them when they expect to post and enforce the eviction notice, they'll tell you, and possibly even work with you unless you've been yanking them around for months.
Just please don't be a dick and mess up the house as you're leaving. I've seen houses where the evictees took the appliances and light fixtures, and smeared excrement on the walls. Not only is it completely uncalled for (you signed a contract agreeing to pay, and you couldn't for whatever reason---that's not THEIR fault) but they can come back and hold you accountable for the damage (in some states).
