My boss has a serious non-fatal illness. She's disrupting my work & home life. How do I get her to stop?
Question:
I can't quit my job due to my financial situation (plus health insurance). My health is being affected & my family's expressed concern. I mostly like this woman & feel sorry for her. I'm also afraid if I ask her to give me some breathing room, she'll fire me. How can I redirect her attention so I can do my job & have a life without her constant need for attention?
Answer:
She will not fire you, apparently she needs you too much.
You can tell her that by distracting you your work performance is affected and the business suffers from it.
Talk to her boss about how her behavior affects your performance.
Maybe suggest to her that she needs a professional nurse to help her around the clock, then the nurse will get her attention.
Take as much as possible time off irk (find a good excuse) so she ' ll find someone else to nag.
best of luck
Just let her know that you feel it is hurting your working relationship. She, being your boss, is not really a good idea to be associated outside the workplace. Besides, she shouldn't fire you unless your work performance is terrible.
Take her to a shrink
you know what it sucks but keep helpng her, in the long run you will be in charge of her job, it will pay off . what kind of fatal illness please contact me.. if you want to.. believe me helping others helps in the longrun you will get paid more money that you probably think you will earn.
