From every day stresses of life, work, home,& school, what are some things you do to relieve stress and relax?

Question:
I often listen to music and spend alone time with myself. Or maybe a long drive out to another city. But to be honest I wonder if its enough. A hot bath with candles, bath oils and Stevie Wonder playing in the back, no kids or people fussing, yelling or blowin up your phone. HMMM . Thats a start I guess. What are you thoughts?

Answer:
Exercise! Our lifestyles now are so sedintary, but our bodies are built for movement and activity. Get out, get your heart rate up and break a sweat. The high you get from exercise leads to a great state of bliss later on and also rids the body of toxins so that you feel better. Have fun!
sleep and watch tv alone in my room.
Sing from the bottom of my lungs. I'ts like screaming, but people don't know...they just think u're vocal.
I like a nice hot bubble bath, listening to music, or just lying on the bed with my cat. His purring always relaxes me when I am feeling stressed over something.
Go for a massage! It's heaven!
i like to take long walks- about 6 miles.-whenever i feel uptight or some bad emotions want to explode. i also like to listen to fave music like andrea bocelli or phil collins or jazz fusion
I play games, take my frustration out on the game i am playing, I also drink a cup of coffee and read some books. Everyone does something different.
Crank one off, that is the ultimate relaxer.
Exercise! A good vigerous workout will decrease your stress level significantly. Promise. Give it a go!

My two favorite things to do to unwind/relax are driving and hot baths. When I drive, I just like to be out somewhere where there aren't a lot of other people, and it's usually at night. The best part is, I usually end up talking to myself on these little trips, which always makes me feel so much better! I know it sounds kinda lame, but it really helps.
