I'm on disability and need a computer in order to work @ home..anyone willing to.donation one?

Question:
I can't afford my own.. can't use the one I'm borrowing for long..Can't work in my trade any more..

Answer:
Freecycle sites are a place to start and also check with AARP in your town/city, call the colleges or tech institutes and see if they have programs that might help. In my town the tech schools will help with supplies if you qualify and they have lots of different programs.
Call the disability office and ask about retraining programs. They would like for you to get back in the work force.
i am on disability too ... very little .. but i saved up money every monthy until I could buy one.

You might check out freecycle locally . i got an older laptop for my daughter there.

you can get good used computers in newspapers or ebay for under $200 ... I got a great one for $125.
