My husband and I did E Bay for several months however we had other jobs. It wasn't that easy if you really were to try to make a living at it. My brother does it full time and earns a living but he works most weeks 6 or 7 days a lot of hours and a lot of trips to the post office but he earns his living that way.
I would miss contact with others. He says he chats with other E-Bayers and also is building his own house so I guess its pretty good.

Yes, I work from home. There are some very good companies that legitimately offer full and part time positions. Most require Highspeed internet, computer and landline. Recently, there was a segment on Good Morning America that featured Home based employment. You can go to MSNBC website and google it and they have an entire section listing opportunities. Some are better than others, check to make sure its a job opportunity and not a business opp.(those usually are pyramid based and require you to invest). If you like customer service, there are several companies that will hire home based agents for part and full time work to do either inbound or outbound calls-some with sales, some without. The biggest issue with all of these is that the process for hiring is lengthy-minimum of a month-because it is all done via the internet. If you are looking for something more immediate, then these might not work. If you can go through the process, check out Alpine Access(you can access their website and other similar companies through the MSNBC weblink. I work from home for a company called Arise, formally willowcsn. I take calls for virgin atlantic airways, but there are loads of companies you can work for, like barnes and noble, Disney, AAA, Staples etc etc etc. Basically you start by visiting the website below, it covers everything, and it isn't a scam! lol I was weary until I went and watched someone do it. I've been getting paid for it and making a good living for about 3 years now. Right from this computer. Just need internet, phone, and basic computer/customer service skills. You start with a background check, and a phone call (to make sure you speak english haha) then they do a few tests to be sure you know how to work a computer (like typing etc) It's very easy. Then basically you pick who you want to work for, there are ALWAYS classes going on, you take them right from home. And then your set. Great thing about it, you pick your own hours you want to work. Like Virgin Atlantic Airways has hours from 8am-11:30pm eastern time all week, and I just choose hours I want to work! Other pros- I just moved, and hey! took my job with me :) no worrying about having to find a new job. And you can take time off whenever you want, it's fabulous!
