We tried to get my in-laws to use one of the debt agencies. They sound really good. The problem is that they do not offer any counseling to help them stay out of debt. I guess they are a buisness and hope to have repeat customers. But if you can get her to do this I think it would be a great thing. Call one of them in your area and talk to them. They were very friendly and helpful and explained the whole process thourghouly. My in-laws refused to admit there is a problem and therefore refused to use them. I
know what you are going through good luck. It can be very stressful for family of people who are in so much trouble financially. Just remember that they love you and would never do anything to hurt you. They just don't see why their finances are bothering you. I look at it like an addiction. You will never recover if you don't admit there is a problem. And the addict never sees what their addiction is doing to the family. Hang in there. It says a lot about you that you are so concerned for your parents.
