Debt Relief?

Question:
I have about $24,000 in debt. Is there any debt relief sites that I can go to and are legit? I'm tired of all the debt and I need help.

Answer:
There should be a non-profit Credit Counseling Services in your area. I can really empathize; mine was as high as $33,000, but thank God, it's gone. I felt like I was fighting all the forces of heaven, hell, and earth all the time.

There is a site where you can learn how to take care of this yourself it is http://www.thecreditrepairmanual.com...
You'll be fine, just take this opportunity to access your credit issues and make a plan to get out.

Best regards,
There is a company called Greenpath that has a good reputation for things of tht nature. I believe thier website is www.greenpath.com. A couple we know used them and were out of debt very quickly from what they say.
You have probably heard this before, but the best way to get out of debt is to pay off your bills. If it's credit card debt, take the card that charges the highest interest rate, and pay that one down first. Always pay more than the minimum payment. If you have the discipline to not get yourself into this problem again, try consolidating your loans into one payment, with a lower interest loan.
There are 2 ways to consolidate, a mortgage refinance or credit counseling. Credit counseling will save you a ton in finance charges since they negotiate with your creditors to reduce or eliminate the interest. http://cash4us.net has links to companies for both options.
