Anyone have scoop on debt consolidation companies? Are they really any good? Particularly, creditsolutions.com

Question:

Answer:
STAY away from credit solutions. Speaking from experience they will trash your credit, get you sued. They will quit answering your emails and put you on hold for hours and transfer you from one person to another. When you get sued, which you will they will say SORRY! And they will still take your money. I cancelled their service and am trying to get back at least 50% of what I paid them. Please work it out with your creditors yourself. It is what I am doing now. Go to ripoffreport.com and type in credit solutions and read for yourself the horror stories. They also have over 460 complaints with the BBB and around 60 with the Texas Attorney General. PLEASE stay away from any debt solution place and do it your self.
There is nothing a debt consolidation company can do that you cannot do for yourself. Deal directly with your creditors and ask them for options. Then make a considered decision on repaying those debts. A sound debt management practice is needed and over time you will reduce your debt and increase your score. My profile has more information if required.
Debt consolidations companies are a rip off in my opinion. Same with credit repair companies. Debt consolidation companies just trash your credit which doesn't help you at all. Debt repair companies flood the credit reporting agencies with dispute letters that get largely ignored. Another poster to your question nailed it when it was mentioned to just do all of this yourself.
You dont need credit consolidation companies. Try these guys out. http://www.mm-review.com/money/2.html... they can help you fix your credit on your own! Best of luck!
