Are there any good debt consolidation places who can help me?

Question:

Answer:
I go through Freedom Point. They are reliable and trustworthy. Easy too because you can access everytyhing online. You give them all your debtor info - account numbers, contact info, amount owed, etc. and they work with the company and lower your monthly payment. you pay one lump sum to freedom point and they disburse it to your debtors. this is a good company too because they change your payment date so it doesnt worsen your credit by making late payments. you can also give your creditors their credit department 800 number so they can call and confirm that you are working with freedom point and they will leave you alone and stop calling!

best of luck!!
try lighthouse credit foundation.
If you have college loans, check out financialaid.com. They're really helpful and have good benefits for consolidating.
I assume you have credit card debt. The best thing to do is call your credit card companies and ask if they will consolidate all of your debt onto one credit card at a reasonable rate of interest.
That would be the best scenario.

Be careful with some of these "non-profit" organizations who say they will renegotiate your credit card debt for you. Be very very careful. They might make things worse.

If you can't get one of your credit card companies to consolidate all of your loans, then try paying off the credit cards yourself. Eventually, one of your credit card companies will let you consolidate all of your credit cards into one loan at a reasonable rate of interest.

Good luck!
I think Grouch gave you a great answer, all the consolidation places do not do any good for you. after them people in worth situation, then before, call your self and try to negotiate with all the company's your self, you do much better job. Good Luck!
Debt consolidation is an option, and you should look into it. Just be careful about WHAT you're getting into. Some plans, because of their higher APR rates get you into more trouble than you were.

Also, some lenders look poorly upon it later on. Some institutions believe that it really is a black mark. It will depend upon the types of deals that your particular company or lender work out, and of course, your own individual circumstance. For some with absolutely NO way out, debt consolidation is a welcome option.

Take a good hard look at all the options and plans offered, and don't let a single company pressure you into something you just can't do. Make sure that you're comfortable with the plan offered before you commit to it.

In any case, it doesn't hurt to investigate debt consolidation as an option. It doesn't cost you anything to find out more information about it.

If you want a place to start your investigating, there's information and listings for debt consolidation providers on the page listed below. You'll probably find something of use there:
