Has anyone used Federated Financial Counseling Services, Corp (out of Florida) to help with Debt Consolidation

I've tried dealing with my creditors, but they can't help me.
Answer:
I am researching them right now and would love to hear from someone who has used them in the past successfully. I've read some bad things and some good things. They are rated with the BBB but that was some years back.
Please anyone with any comments regarding Federated Financial, pass them on!

Be very careful about working with non-profit debt consolidation services such as the one mentioned above. If you do some research you will find that these types of companies are paid for and sponsored by the creditors themselves and they do not have your best interest at hand.
Check with the BBB also and see if they have any complaints. If you are looking to get out of debt you will want to look into settling debts and being debt free in 12-30 months or less. Debt settlement can also give you one lower monthly payment.
