Pastry Chef Salary?

Question:
Thinking about a career as a pastry chef. Just wondering what an average salary is?

Answer:
it depends on the country, the location (state, province {even town}) It also depends on the level of intracacy and delicacy. It also depends on if you are an Executive pastry chef or a pastry cook.

If you are thinking about a five star in NYC (USA) you would look somewhere in th neighborhood of $35,000- $85,000.

I know its a broad ball park. But I need a little more info.
About 50K, but of course it depends.
