Does anybody know where I can look for a job as a beginning pastry chef with a 2 yr. assoc degree?

Question:

Answer:
well.. for starters you could check out your local newspaper. and I would suggest (which is professionally best) make up some resumes and go around your town and give them to bakeries. You'd be surprised how much feed back you get!

If you're not sure on resumes - here's a good site on formatting.

:) Good luck!
Your school should be the best source of leads. There should be a formal staff function assisting with career development. The second area to work on is your instructors. They will have connections, and hopefully they will share them with you.

The best way to get a job is through networking. But don't ignore the other channels, as well. Check out the Monster.com and competitor sites, the newspapers, etc., while you work on your school contacts.
