I'd like to learn more about being a pastry chef...?

Question:
Please tell me everything you know about the career.
I'd like to learn as much as I can. Thank you!

Answer:
enroll in an accredited culinary school, that should take about12-18 months. then take a job as a bakers assistant and learn as much as you can. the title of pastry chef is hard to come by and it means more than just baking cakes, it takes flair and an eye for detail.
it can be a daunting task but is achievable if you put your self completely into it
Nothing
I can't make decent pancakes.
check your school district and the culinary school in the yellow pages
