All banks (and not just in Canada) invest in the Forex market so that they can earn 40%+ and pay us 6%. That's why they have such pretty buildings. (And so many VPs to feed).
Sure. They all do don't they? I thought that was how banks make so much money (besides the money they hold for us of course).

They do this for the banks account and will do it for clients, if the clients have a brokerage account with the bank and meet the proper criteria for that type of investment
