Stocks trading or forex trading? Which do you prefer and why?

Question:

Answer:
Forex hands down. On the NYSE, there are 1600 issues. Worldwide, there are 40,000 issues. That's a lot of information to sift through to find a stock to trade. In the forex there are 6 major curreny pairs. A lot less info.

Stocks - only allow a max of 2 to 1 leverage. Forex (depending on the broker) can have up to 400 to 1 leverage.

Forex - you can start an account with as little as $200 (or even less depending on the broker).

Forex trades 24 hours a day, stocks (on the NYSE) trade from 9:30 am to 4 pm Eastern time.

Average dollar volume traded on the NYSE during the day is approx. $40 billion. Global equities markets is about $190 billion daily. Forex is approx. $1.9 trillion daily.
neither
Doesn't matter as long as I can make a profit.
