What would happen if you maxed out a credit card then used a cash advance check from that credit card?
Question:
Answer:
Sometimes the credit card companies will approve the check and slap you with an overlimit fee for going over your set amount, they may increase your credit line if you have paid on time or they may return the check and then you would owe money to whomever you wrote the check out too, and you may have to pay a bounced check fee to whom you wrote it...
Cash advance checks are a bad way to go. The amount is put at the "back" of the debt (paid of last) and the interest accrues daily.
you will be committing fraud. if you are at the max and now looking for a cash advance - that would be a fraudulant transaction. beware.
