My privacy policy was violated @ a local cash advance. Does anyone know a 1-800 # so I can report them.?

Question:

Answer:
Contact your state's Financial Institutions Division (FID)..They are the regulators for cash advance stores. If your state doesn't have specific laws protecting your rights, you are still protected by federal law. The FID should be able to point you in the right direction for who to contact federally.
contact the prosecuting attorney
Call the Better Business Bureau (I'm sure the internet will have the number) and turn them jerks in!!
call your local police station and they will guide you to the right agency
I don't know where you are, but I'm in Mesquite, Texas. I used our blue pages and found this Dallas number--if you will call it, they can probably give you a 1- 800 number. The blue pages in our ph. book listed it this way: Credit Other Than Bank Credit Unions--Consumer Protection Issues--Federal Trade Commission--Dallas Regional Office--214.979.0213. Good luck!
