If i make a truck payment with a credit card is it considered a cash advance at the higher interest rate?
Question:
yes! don't do that...pay the truck payment in cash...you're hurting yourself using a high interest credit card to pay a car loan...
If your lender accepts credit card payments? Then no it would not be considered a cash advance.
I have to ask, why would you do this? You are going to end up paying interest on top of interest unless you pay off the credit card in full.
Without a doubt.
I dont know of any auto lenders that accept credit card payments, but if they do I would assume it would be treated the same as a debit or check payment unless the rules say otherwise
Yes, that's considered a "cash equivalent" transaction.
