Hi, if I pay with a credit card to buy a cashiers check, is it a charge, a cash advance or a balance transfer?

Question:
Paying with AmEx card for a check issued by a Credit Union.

Answer:
I am not sure they do that .. but it will be a cash advance ..

Good Luck!
*if* they allow payment with a credit card, it would be as a cash advance.
Since a Cashier's check is as good as cash they will not allow you to get a Cashier's check directly from your credit card.

What you will have to do is get a Cash Advance on the Credit Card and use that cash to purchase the check.
You're fooling yourself. Act your wage.
