Credit card cash advance checks, 0% APR for 6 months?

Question:
I recently in the mail got a bunch of checks from my Visa saying that I can use those checks up to my limit, with 0% APR until January 2008. Does this mean I can cash those checks, say $2000, without paying interest until January 2008?

Answer:
Yes you can use them to write checks...get cash etc. BUT it is a huge mistake!

Rip the checks up ASAP...they give you 6 months with 0% interest but charge you a fee to cash the check and they know you can't pay it all off in 6 months. They will get thier money from you...don't fall into this credit - trap!

Live debt free! It is a wonderful feeling.
Read the fine print. You may only have 0% for 6 months, but what does the interest rate jump to after that? 18? 22? Be carefull.
Make sure you dont write a check for more than your credit limit and also look at what the rate goes to after the intro rate. Also some have a "upfront" fee of say 3 percent of the cash advance
Thats what it means

yes it does, but what is the fee for the cash advance checks...usually it is 3% with no limit or some have a limit of 200$
