Credit card cash advance?
Question:
yes. In order to do so you will need to have set up a pin number for it.
And I wouldn't recommend using it to get cash. Check with your credit card company, but often the finance charges on the withdrawal make it very expensive. More expensive than paying fees for using a "non bank" atm!
As stated previously, you can get money from an atm or inside of a bank from your credit card. This may be only a portion of your available credit. You would have to check with the credit card issuer to know the cash advance limit. You do have to have a PIN number. There is no grace period on cash advances, unlike other charges which generally have a 25-30 day grace period, so interest will accrue from the day you get the advance. Interest is almost always higher on cash advances, usually 24.9% or something thereabouts. So if you're in a real pinch then do it, but if you have another way out, consider that instead. Also note that credit card companies do consider the use of cash advances when reviewing you for a credit line increase. Using the cash advance feature makes you appear strapped for cash, so be careful!
