Cash advances?
Question:
Answer:
Unless someone is going to come to your house and break your legs if you don't pony up the $150, DO NOT, repeat DO NOT use one of the cash advance/payday loan places. Their interest rates are as bad as a loan shark's.
I don't know what or who you need the $150 for, but try to work something out. Maybe you can pay $50 now, or whatever you have, and arrange to pay the rest at a later date. Then go to this site http://daveramsey.com/ and learn how to manage your money so you don't get into this situation again. You can find Dave Ramsey's book, The Total Money Makeover, in your local library. And you can listen to all three hours of his radio show FREE on his website. If you WANT to learn how to manage your finances and get out of debt, the information is there. All you have to have is the desire.
Try a paycheck advance store, you will need your last paystub and your last checking account statement though.
Darlin', Cash Advance places are NOT the answer. The interest rates are outrageous - you'll be in more debt than before, and it will just keep getting deeper and deeper. It's a trap, they should be outlawed. They're all just huge scams. If it's truly life or death situations, then I'm sure a friend wouldn't mind lending you the money... that is, if you have good credit with them. Go through your things - Find stuff you don't use, need, or can't afford to even have and sell it. Clothes that don't fit, or you don't wear - sell it.

Do you have banks in your area that are open on the weekend? Commerce Bank in NY (I know they are out of state too) has extended hours. Go there with a gov't issued(drivers lic, passport, military ID) photo ID and additional credit card (2 IDs required for cash advance). Tell the rep that you would like a cash adv and you will leave there with $ provided your credit card is approved. Be careful, the interest really racks up on those and continues to accumulate daily.
