I hope everyone has a lovely night. Q: Could you be a criminal lawyer and religious (devout) at the same time?
Question:
Answer:
only if he is a satanist.
just kidding. i hope to be a criminal lawyer some day. although i am an atheist.
Ok, I am an atheist, so I won't comment on being religious and being a criminal attorney, but don't you think its a good thing for every human being to be represented honestly in court?
christians, lawyers whats the difference? you are both hell-bent on twisting the facts for monetary gains. hope that helps.
I am part of the Mormon religion. I know many very sucessfull lawyers in my faith. We believe that men should abide by the laws of the land. If you are representing someone who you think or know is at fault you can still represent them. We believe that it is your duty to follow the guidelines set by the goverment of course this would be if you had no choice. But if you own your own firm you always have your own agency to turn them down for deeper moral reason.

dont know what the religious issue is! but lawyers can be clasified under affordable freedome. or non-affordable freedome! we always hear bout the price of freedome! just ask a lawyer what it is?
A person cannot be religious and be involved in the legal/law-enforcement system at all. Too many conflicts between religious belief and legal codes. A TRULY religious person makes decisions based solely on religious belief and nothing else. IF a religious person can justify a decision that is not in tune with their religious beleifs then they need to rethinkg the strength of their conviction. You either follow religious teaching, or you follow some other authority. It is NOT possible to do both. After all, "A man cannot serve two masters."
