I tried Metabolife Herbal pills with Green Tea extract or something in them. As far as weight loss, I lost nothing, but I had tons and tons of energy. When I stopped taking them though, I got massive headaches for like a week straight.
Yes, in my experience they are often expensive and useless. The active ingredients are laxatives and caffine to 'lighten your load' and give you more energy to move around and so burn more Kcal.
There are two tried and tested diet pills available with a prescription (orlistat and sibutramine), get in touch with your dietitian/GP for details
these were about $75, I only use them 3 or 4 times a week, and they last like 5 or 6 months.
I lost fat, I gained muscle, my resting heartrate went down, and I sleep better at night. I also feel more awake during the day. Try it- better than any pill out there I think-

#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
