Is adipex(diet pill) an amphetamine? the reason i ask is due to drug tests at work?

If the drug is prescription, you have the option of showing them the prescription when and if you test positive. They have to make allowances for prescription drugs. (I also took a drug test years ago when I was on vicodan and it never tested positive)

Adipex is similar to an amphetamine. It's a stimulant in the same category as cocaine and amphetemines and will stay in your system for at least 1-2 days. It's also highly addictive-- you can become psychologically dependent on it. If you have a dirty drug test, will you be able to "explain" it was just a diet pill?
phentermine is not only addictive, it an also cause irreversible liver damage. why don't just eat less and exercise more?
