What is the best diet you have tried and it worked. (Pills, or a diet plan)?

Question:

Answer:
This diet is not for everybody but it worked for me 5 yrs ago. It's called "The acid diet" but is not like you are going to swallow a hazardous acid or something like that, it has this name because the ingredients and effects. You can drop 10 pounds a week if you follow instructions to the word. Take 1 big tomato, celery, half of lettuce, 2 small or 1 big onion and 1 cube of chicken broth for taste purposes. Boil 1/2 gallon of water, chop all the ingredients in small pieces and add them to the water. Let it boil for additional 5 minutes. This is how it works; All you are going to eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner is this kind of "soup" for no more than a week (Not cheating). You'll need a lot of will power to do it but is worth. These ingredients have acids and citrics that mixed in water and being consumed go straight were your body accumulates more fat to eliminate it and helping you to deintoxicate at the same time; in other words "Flushing". You'll drop pounds quick if you don't cheat but if this doesn't work for you or if you don't see changes after the third day, don't keep trying. Notice that this is a "one week only" diet. After that week is on you to mantain with exercise and regular diet.
If you're going to try pills the most effective pills are Trimspa or Lipo 6; They are good and really work but you have to follow the instructions to the word. But remember that at once your body start getting used to the pills, they stop working.
eat less and work out
Atkins.

It a no brain-er diet, and it worked for me and 3 out of 4 co-workers who was also on it as well.
Eat small portions 3-5 times a day (makes the metabolism work like a furnace) and regular excersise.
right now I'm on the eat less food, eat healthy food, and I exercise about 3-4 days a week depending on my schedule for about 30-45 minutes. I have not only lost weight, I have more energy than ever.

Most people in America are looking for a miracle cure for their own laziness. It just doesn't happen like that. You put an effort in and you'll be rewarded.
eat a healthy diet (non fat, alcohool etc) and exercise. forget about pills and sh!t like that.
Low fat, High protein. I gaurantee it'll work. Cut out garbage like Mayonnaise and butter. No fast food, no chips or cookies.
Eat cold cuts, skinless chicken breast. Cut out drinks full of sugar like soda and sweetened iced tea. Drink lots of water and exercise regularly. I lost 27lbs in 8 weeks doing that and have kept it off.
The Weston Price diet, I am a nutrition expert and it
is the most natural and nutritionally sound that i have
ever seen-THAT and i lost like 30 lbs without even
doing cardio or anything!

I would SERIOUSLY look into it, all other diets are REALLY
unhealthy.

I bought a box of Raisin bran and I did the diet that was on the box where you replace 2 meals a day with raisin bran... I took this diet to the extreme though... I ate the 2 bowls a day but sometimes I wouldn't eat the regular meal that It tells you to. I did this for a month I lost 40 lbs... I must tell you that I exercised every day I stopped drinking soda all together and It actually made me sick... go figure... But I do know that the cereal diet does work. good luck...
I have found that dieting alone does not work. You must condition yourself to make a change in your eating habits and exercise to boost your metabolism. Once you go off a diet, your eating habits will go back to the way you ate before which will defeat the purpose of dieting.
the la program seems to work for me,its 1 starch, 1 fruit for breakfast, 1 fruit 1 low calorie snack bar for morning snack, 1 meat, 1 veg, 1 starch for lunch, 1 fruit for afternoon snack, 1 meat 1 starch 1 veg 1 dairy for supper, its works
Adkins worked best for me I lost 20 pounds in 3 months. Unfortunately I have gained the 20 pounds back but it took 3 years to gain it back so I think it was worth the discipline for 3 months. I love to eat. I am okay with my weight right now even though I am at the upper end of where I like to be. I am 55 and healthy so I guess that is okay.
Weight Watchers, definitely. You can eat whatever you want as long as you stay within your assigned points. I did it and lost 45lbs and kept it off for five years.
Eating only fat-free, sugar-free, foods. (All fruit diet is good) And brisk walking on a 15% inclined treadmill at 4.3mi/hr every morning for 45min.
2 Easy Steps

1. Exercise raises your metabolism and therefore helps control your weight.

2. Eating more often in smaller amounts helps increase your metabolism.

There is no magic pill, and there are no miracles. You have to change your eating habits, you have to exercises, you have to mentally plan yourself and you have to look into dieting as a long-term, life-changing event.

The best diet I I have tried, is the one where I constantly look what I eat, and exercises. But to achieve that, you really need to change your day by day habits, and make no exceptions. Discipline is the name of the game.

Forget about pills, the only thing you will loose is $$$
I lost 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks of doing Atkins. I went of the etaing plan bad, and ate lots of junk and stopped exercising, and it took over a year to put that weight back on. So don't believe people when they say Atkins/South Beach are bad cause you'll regain the weight fast and more.

I would do South beach this time- little bit healthier as far as the types of fats. (One Atkins recipe had me making a sauce with heavy cream - it was a bit much). Since the "low fat Snackwells" craze, this country has been getting fatter. So eating only low fat foods isn't the answer.

Carbs are the food most easily converted to fat, as well as energy. But, if you're not seriously working out (or training for a marathon) you don't need that many carbs - even though most of them are yummy and portable. So South Beach/Atkins has it right - limit carbs to healthy ones (no white bread/pasta/sugar etc), eat veggies, eat protein and good fats to fill you up. If you are going to eat carbs, make sure you have either protein or fat with it to slow down the absorption and avoid the blood sugar spike/carb crash cycle.

Haven't tried any pills, so can't help you out there.
