Do diet pills work?
Question:
Answer:
Any diet pill you use should come from a doctor, lots of people have good results with them but they can be addictive and your physical health should be evaluated before taking any new medicine.
diet pills are hard on you heart, don't take them, just change your diet and get some exercise.
Don't even consider them.
I think they work for a while and then you gain weight again. Double the weight. Exercise is better and eating right will help you loose weight and more healthier.
its a quick fix and usually put back on just as fast once you stop. read tips on weight loss and exercise programs to help you better on this site
The only thing that will make you slimmer is using more energy than you consume. Eat less, exercise more - it really is that simple.
Diet pills may work for some but only in the short term, the only permanent, healthy and safe way to lose weight is slowly, by eating a healthy varied, balanced diet and being active
Hiya, just wanted to say that diet pills wont work, doctors dont prescribe them so they are not regulated in any way at all.
A company can produce pills and make all sorts of outragous claims, even that it IS medically approved. Lots of these kind of pills work as a placebo.
I have tried a weight control pill called Zotrim, it just makes you feel full up so you dont eat as much but again its not something to rely on its just a helping hand.
At the end of the day its about willpower and determination,we all know that we should have a healthy diet and exercise regularly, thats exactly what you need to do! and i know that that is easier said than done,as i am still over weight myself!!
diet pill won't work at all...
they may work right then but they dont keep the weight off. They also are hard on the other organs in your body. If you are looking to loseweight in a healthier way I have something that might help. Its a program that im on. It allows you to lose 2-5lbs a week. Let me know at www.khoward.tsfl@yahoo.com
In the short term diet pills can work BUT they do not teach you how to control your weight long term and as stated earlier they can be bad for your heath.
One of the hardest things to do is to control your weight by trying to diet. Instead of trying to give up all of your favorite foods why not:
1. Only eat half of what you would normally eat, when it comes to junk food. Just have 1 cookie instead of two, only eat half a chocolate bar and eat the other half tomorrow.
2. Stop drinking soda. The sugar kind and diet.
3. Add a bit of exercise. Walk around the mall an extra 2 or three times, take the stairs instead of the escalator, play ball with your pet.
4. Every day change one bad eating habit.
5. Drink more water--this is very important. Water will help flush out fat.
6. Always eat breakfast.
not really, spend your money at the gym.
Some do, but you have to watch what you eat and move daily at least 30 min.
they do work! but they're not safe and of course they do have side effects...and the weight comes back on easily as well...the most safe way to get in shape is still good old exercise atleast 3 times a week for an hour and good balanced diet...high fiber, low cholesterol, low fat, low salt, low sugar, low carbs...not easy but will do the job...
Not since ephedra was banned. OH, and if your an emotional eater, diet pills will not work because they are made to reduce hunger pains, but emotional eaters don't eat out of hunger anyways.
