Diet Pills?
Question:
Answer:
Weight loss pills are widely advertised as a quick method to lose weight. These are food supplements and are not regulated by the FDA or any authority. Some weight loss pills may help you lose weight for a short time, but after a month or so, the body becomes immune to them.I found information on weight loss pills and their side effects at http://www.toloseweight.org/weightlosspi...
i don't think they would work.
its sounds too good to be true.
Yes they are bad for you
Alot of them do work unfortunately
at least short term
but then they alter your metabolism and you become physiologically dependent on them...
Some really do work on supressing your appetite but its only temporary. It's not healthy to stay on them long term, and if you can't control your eating afterwards all the weight you lost will come back. :(
The only diet pills that I have taken that work is Ephedra/Ephedrine. I have tried everthing else from TrimSpa to Xenadrine and none of it works since they took the Ephedra out of it. When I was taking them (before the darn government banned them) I lost twice as much weight with diet and exercise than I did without them.
i have tried a few( xenadrine, metabolife, trimspa, hydroxicut) and others. i didn't see any difference with most. I did lose weight with xenadrine but then got really sick. all of them made me nervous. My body could not handle any of the side effects so i quit taking them and gained he weight back. Not reccommended.
My sister takes a prescribed diet pill called " Adipex" this pill controls your appetite, without any side effects, she lost over 10 lbs a week...I cant believe the doc still prescribes them to her...She doesn't need to lose anymore weight..anyways this pill guarantee works !
They do work. The problem is with the side effects. I used to take Phen-Fen and in a term of 5 months I lost 104 lbs. Unfortunately, after I stopped taking it, I gained back the pounds I lost and my liver went bad, I got high blood pressure too. My doctor told me I was lucky I was still alive because many people died because of these pills. So, I would suggets not to take diet pills . Exercise and eat healthy!
It's true that sometimes you may lose some weight while taking diet pills, but the weight can return once you stop taking them. And most diet pills include a small-print recommendation that you also exercise and eat a low-calorie diet, which would cause you to lose weight anyway. Unfortunately, diet pills can have dangerous side effects. You should check with your doctor before taking them to make sure they are safe.
Don't think about diet pills. Its make you like slim but for sometime you'll notice that you are weak. Just forget about diet pills and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. And do regular exercises. Believe me if you don't eat sugar and fat and doing exercises will make you look really good.
i've tried the release program from GNC. it made me very jittery and really messed up my stomach and other insides. i was off of it in a month.didnt' work well for me. i work in a pharmacy and i've seen adipex (or phentermine) work pretty well for most people. you just need to find a doctor who will prescribe it. most want you to do it by exercise and watching what you eat.
they really don't work. you must keep taking them in order for them to work. (if your body doesn't get used to them that is)
they're also hard on the circulatory and respiratory system and the stomach lining.
eat a well balanced diet like the one suggested by our goverment.. our taxes paid for it.. actually it's a very easy and current reference to follow.
food pyramid.
also take the stairs, walk, ride a bike... so on.
drink those fluids and cut down on that crappy, chemically impacted foods and drinks.
you should see the pounds melt very shortly actually if you stick to a well balanced, moderated diet such as suggested above and you won't have to starve and you won't gain back pounds in triplecate in case you go nuts and break down for something sugary and fattening.
and you'll feel better because of the fresh fruits and veggies this diet promotes.
drink that water!
this diet can be maintained for the rest of your life. and if you give in once in a while and binge.. you won't pack on the pounds because your body is not starving through a bad fad diet, pills, programed diets like jenny craig, starvation diets, carb starve diets like atkins (oh no don't do atkins you'll really be sorry) and those lame juice diets that really just cleanse the digestive tract instead of making you burn calories.
try this food pyramid suggestion and hold onto it and remember moderate the fatty foods and fatty snacks... it should result in weight loss with in a week!
and stay active, that's another key point.
No. My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!
