Do diet pills work?
Question:
Answer:
I took "natural" diet pills once for a couple of months to lose a few pounds, I'd even checked in with a doctor who told me to go ahead. They were working fine and I was noticing a difference (no miracles, though... and they made me nauseous every single morning) when I suddenly got jaundice... turns out they'd triggered an autoimmune response from my body and were messing up my liver. Now I have to take medication every day just to keep my immune system in check. Needless to say, I regained all I'd lost (which wasn't that much to begin with) and them some!
It's true that not all bodies are created equal so not everyone reacts like this, but my advice would be to stick to the slow, but tried-and-true method of good old diet & exercise. Good luck!
it might work on some but not all. i've tried all kinds and the one that has worked is metabalife
I don't know but if someone knows of any let me in on it too! Trimspa?
not healthy!! exercise and walking are. my grandma had to lose weight fast so they had her drink plain lemon juice for 6 months. she lost weight. about a small orange juice glass a day. you will urinate more.stay away from the diet drugs unless your MD suggests you to do so and he/she will order what you need. i doubt this will happen. thanks
Diet pills like any drugs have different effects on different people. The key ingredient in most is caffiene.
As a general answer - not specific to a doctor prescribed diet - but in general, I do not think diet pills work. Having a well balanced diet, eliminating high calorie low nutrition foods (yep chocolate chip cookies) and getting daily exercise does much more to help in weight loss.
The French - beautiful women in general - say reduce everything you eat by a little, that gives you the leway to eat a chocolate chip cookie if you need to. I like this way of thinking.
Do not waste you money on diet pills.
