Do diet pills really work and if so, which one?
Question:
Answer:
This was my problem .. I ate very little and exercised a lot, but couldn't understand why I wasn't losing any weight. The trick is to eat every couple of hours. Have three meals a day, with healthy snacks in between. This keeps your metabolism working throughout the day. Also, make sure you are drinking at least 8 glasses of water, unsweetened juice or decaffinated drinks throughout the day. Sometimes if we have pockets of fat that we can't get rid of, then it's simply due to not having enough fluid intake.
I don't know about diet pills .. I've never tried them .. but it's best to try and do it the natural way.

You are not overweight enough to get the only diet pills that really work--prescription. You can try those over-the-counter ones like Hoodia, but they aren't clinically proven to do anything.except take your money. No, you don't need to suppress your appetite. Change your workout and you'll get past this plateau.
dieting only works until you "plateau", which it sound like you've done. Time to start working out, excercise it the only thing to push yourself over the "cant loose anymore edge" also see a doctor, you have to find out what YOUR healthy weight is. mabey youve already hit it,
Diet Pills are not the answer. Exercise is the best way. What you need to do is push yourself for a week when you exercising. If you were running 2 miles, run 4. If you were exercising for 30 minutes turn it up to 45 min. This will help you cross the plateau that everyone hits when trying to lose weight. Your body naturally has a point where it gets comfortable and you need to get out of your comfort zone.
Diet pills don't "cause" weight loss, they only suppress appetite so you eat less.
If you are already eating less and not losing, then your calories are too high. This can happen even if you're eating small amounts.
Fat has twice as many calories per gram as carbs or protein which is even tiny amounts of fat have huge calories.
Even "innocent" looking foods can have large calories. A Maruchan Cup of Noodles has over 300 calories and many people eat them as a snack. Cheap frozen burritos are also over 300 calories.
At your current weight you're probably eating 1400-1500 calories a day which isn't a lot. But you need to either cut further or find a low carb program that will give you a metabolic advantage.
If you decide to cut calories, remember you need a 3500 calorie deficit to lose 1 pound. If you cut calories by 500 a day, you'll lose 1 pound a week.
