What do you think about dieting/ weight loss pills??

Question:
i'm doing a research project on them and i'd like to know other peoples opinions on using them or even the negitive effects from them.

Answer:
The only correct way to lose weight is by carefully limiting your intake of a healthy balance of food and exercising to get in shape. Diet pills, cutting out entire categories of food (a la Atkins), crash dieting, binge eating... these are all bad ideas and will lead to eating disorders, major health issues and/or gaining all the weight back. It's been proven.

Good luck with your project.
I dont think they are to good to use because they arent a natural way to loose weight. Why not excercise instead?
Some diet pills work well when combined with diet and exercise. Try Trimcap,a natural herbal weight loss supplement that is safe and works well. More info at www.sindor.com
Diet pills only work psychologically. They suppress appetites. But overweight people don't eat because they're hungry. They eat because food has become a crutch. The pills don't suppress depression and anxiety or any of the other triggers that cause some people to overeat. They don't have a shut-off valve that stops people from eating when the body has had enough. And if they work, how come all of them come with a diet and exercise plan? It's not the pills, but the diet and exercise that works. At least, that's what I think.
I think they don't work. If they worked, doctor's would be prescribing them. Weight Watchers plan has worked for me. I have added One A Day Vitamin, calcium and fiber pills (the vitamins will constipate you) Adding those things have made amazing changes to my weight watchers plan. Its all about learning habits that I will be able to live with for the rest of my life. I don't want to bounce around up and down, that's not healthy. I've lost 45 lbs so far, 90 more to go. And.. just got back from my daily hour bike ride. Something I thought I'd never do!
Pills are not good for you. The best thing is losing weight naturally through a good healthy diet, exercise and water consumption.
I dont
If diet pills actually worked, do you think anyone would be overweight?
Hi,
I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).

I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills... . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)
As far as I'm concerned you can flush the pills down the John. It is best not to think of it as dieting rather a sensible eating program for life. Pick a balanced food plan and limit your calories to a healthy amount. Then use an amount that is not too limited or you will cut your metabolism. Excerise will increase your metabolism. Weight Watchers is about the best program, but is expensive. It might be a good program to get started on if you can afford it.
Well, I agree that diet pills probably aren't the best solution to weight loss...that being said, I take Phentermine. (the good half of Phen-Phen) I know it's not a cure all, but I've had success with them, I've lost almost 20lbs. I also know that if I don't change my eating habits, when I go off the pills I will gain the weight back. So far I have had no negative side effects.
