Diet Pill Advise?
Question:
Answer:
Diet pills do not work, finale. Somme may help you loose weight quickly but you will regain more weight once you stop taking pills. Plus, if you look carefully at any commercial for diet pills on the TV carefully, you will see that its written "Not typical results; must be accompanied by a change in lifestyle". The thing they are not telling you is that a change in lifestyle alone can do the same thing.
So how can you loose weight? You must remember that a "diet" as we know it does not work in the long run. The radical change when reducing food intake and calories causes the body to counteract this by reducing the energy needed for things like breathing and pumping blood and will eventually start restocking fat by using that extra energy.
Usually, simply changing your diet (meaning the type of food you eat) will do the trick. A good start is whole grain foods, lots of green vegies and fruits. Obviously, don't eat overly fatty foods and watch out for these artificial sugars which are in everything nowadays. That means avoid (not eliminate) products with fructose, dextrose or ending in "ose" except glucose on its own. Food guides are generally good for helping you with balancing you diet.
Exercise does not have the impact on weight as most people believe. It does not mean that it should be ignored but to have an active lifestyle will work better than short blips of exercise. This can simply mean to walk to go to places as often as possible, taking a brief walk around the office every hour or so, gardening, etc. The misconception is that to be active is to play sports or go to the gym.
I hope this helps.
