Has anybody out there had success with diet pills?
Question:
Answer:
DO not take any pills. All is a waste of money. Don't mess with your health. Diet pills can affect your heart and do some serious damage.
The moviestar diet is a scam as well along w/ other crash diets.
I have found this site to be really informative and helpful.
You can try www.sparkpeople.com
It is a healthy way to lose weight.
You type in how much you want to lose and by when etc...and they plan out your meals so you can achieve your goal. They have a calorie counter and everything. Plus they give you a fitness plan according to what type of exercising you like to do. The exercises can be done at home like dumbells, resistance bands & ball. You can also choose from walking, jogging,or a home video. There's many different options. It's like having a nutritionist and it is free. You also have support from the members. A real neat site. I'm quite impressed.
Enjoy!
God Bless!

i read about it in first magazine
I know someone who used one called zenical n she lost over 50 pounds on that but it isn't covered u have to pay for it n it's pretty expensive but worth it.More then a third of whatever fat intake you have is discarded through your bowel movement and it's gross cuz u actually see the fat (greasy looking) stuff in the toilet so u see it at work and it works fast to.Well good luck oh ya another one that isn't bad is Ionamin which u can get from your doctor.Well I hope it works out and don't forget to exercise cuz while u lose the pounds you will have extra skin that you will want to work on while dieting so it doesn't hang etc after you lose the weight.
No but my problem is I don't stay with a regular regimine with them. If I did what they expected...watch your caloric intake, exercise, and supplement-up.I guess it would work. I have "peaks" of hunger and energy and when it wears off it's not pretty. Willpower is overtaken by boredom.
Also the distinction between hunger pangs and thirst is hard to differensuate and I usually head for a quick bite. Thirst~if I could make water taste like a KitKat or supersize fries it would be a perfect world!
No I haven't. But I have only tried the over the counter type of diet pills. My doctor wouldn't give me the good ones because he said they are too dangerous to the heart. The people I have known get the diet pills have done well on them, however a few years down the line they are bigger than they started out to be in the first place. So, I'm not sure of the lasting results even with the doctors pills.
Good luck if you are going to try them and be careful about your health.
I have had a lot of success with Meridia...the only thing is they are EXPENSIVE...very very expensive. But basically, I have no desire to eat at all, so I have to remember to eat 3 meals a day. My friend takes, what she called, a generic brand of Meridia, I can't remember the name, but it started with a P. She said they work well too.
Some of those over the counter diet pills are scary, so that's why I went with a prescription one that you only have to take 1 pill a day to get results...not 7.
You don’t need diet pills if you can adhere to these three points.
1. Breakfast is the most important meal
2. Eat three small well-balanced meals - not fatty and greasy
3. Make sure you do not eat for at least 3-4 hours before you sleep and sleep on an empty stomach.
This will help your metabolism speed up and you will be looking slimmer with the knowledge that you did this NOT some poxy pills.
I have. But I have to point out immediately that it was not the diet pills that did the work - it was me. I have lost 30 pounds since March and one of the things I did was use a diet pill call Lipodrene which contains both ephedra and caffeine along with Hoodiua Gordonii and other herbal compounds. I also made some major changes in my eating habits which took a lot of discipline on my part. I also started to exercise more but not at first - in fact I lost 10 pounds before I started any working out. Ultimately you have to make up your mind, not only to lose weight, but to be a thinner person. If your goal is only to lose weight - once you reach your goal, you will stop doing what got you there and guess what? You're on your way to the next opportunity to lose weight... ;-( Diet pills like the one I used and still use if I see my weight creeping up, only jump start the program. I like the lipodrene because it is very strong and I only used half the recommended amount (1 per day). The Hoodia is high quality and works as an appetite surpressant, the ephedra kicks up the metabolism, and the caffeine gives an energy boost. But the purpose is to help get over the psychological hurdle of eating less and exercising more. BUT YOU HAVE TO STAY WITH IT and not be discouraged if you hit a plateau or even if your weight goes up a little - it's just your body making adjustments and if you are a female your weight is going to change a bit every month and your rate of weight loss is probably going to be slower than if you were a male because of the hormonal differences between the genders. The responsibility for the weight loss is yours, not the diet pills, but they do help.
I listed a website that has some good information about the product I've been using. Good luck and stick with it.
