Answer:
Just remember. Rosie ODonell is a celebrity too :-)
You're asking for am easy quick fic, and there is none. Diet pills are unhealthy and addictive. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to begin a healthy change in your lifestyle. Notice I did not say "diet" because that is a bad word that implies only a temporary solution. Start out by walking for 30 minutes a day, and cut out as much sugar and trans fats from your diet as you can. You're not going to come close to looking like a celebrity in three weeks. It takes work to do that. Most of those women have personal trainers and workout every day for an hour or so. You are only at the beginning level. The changes you see in your body after a couple weeks should give you incentive. Good luck.
First of all you need to visit a doctor and have this discussion, No body can loose weight as you want in 2-3 weeks like you want bring that up with the doctor as well. And the people here will tell you anything just to get points so beware!
why would you like to look like someone else. do you have any self esteem? you shouldnt want to look like someone else. you should want to be different? your ment to be different. if everyone looked the same it wouldnt be an fun.. Excerise, take a walk.
Try going to your physician, he will tell you a method plan, also you can try going to a dietitian he or she will provide a meal plan for you to follow to quickly loose weight. Try a gym memerbership, a personal trainer can help you target specifice areas for the "celebrity". rememer A healthy way of eating execersie and just plain loving who YOU are you can achieve anythign
Having a goal is a good thing, although you might want to be a bit more selective. You want to look like a celebrity? Like Rosie O' Donnell, or Shamu? Or are you thinking more Paltrow?

In 2-3 weeks of regular exercise and a reasonable, low-calorie, low-fat diet, loss of 2-8 pounds should be possible without endangering your life and health. The more rigorous you are, the better the results, but the difficulties mount quickly and you say you "want to be able to stick with it".

This is the most important part of your effort. Do what you can "stick with". If 6 hours of hard-labor and a lettuce leaf per day are just "too much", find your level, say, a walk around the block before dinner and a large glass of water to reduce food intake.

The results will be slower, but, you didn't get heavy in 2-3 weeks, now, did you? Take that much time to get it off!

Best wishes!
I know firsthand that it's a struggle and I've tried everything over the years. Lots of stuff works, but this is the basis for all weight loss: less calories in, more energy out. It's hard to be patient but I promise you that the lifestyle change is the only way to go long-term. You might try Weight Watchers - no one wants to hear that because it's not trendy or new, but a lot of times people who join lose a significant amount that first week (I've heard up to 8 pounds). Of course, it slows down after that, but it's a good start. Take good care of yourself.
Diet (eating too little calories) is a guarantee weight loss failure. Your body needs calories to survive. If your body does not get enough calories to sustain life, your metabolism drops to protect itself. Will you lose weight with dieting? Yes…. However, it is not a permanent weight loss. You will eventually gain the weight back plus more.

When you diet, you will lose weight, which consist of water weight, muscle weight, and maybe a little fat.

I am sorry but there is no short cut to weight loss. It requires persistence and hard work. If you want to lose weight safely and effectively, I outline the some general tips.

1. Exercise (resistance training): Lifting weights can add muscle to your body. Your metabolism is highly correlated with how much muscles that you have. Your muscle is where fat is being burned.

Basically, the more muscles that you have, the higher your metabolism, the more calories that you can burn even when you are sleeping. That is why 255-pound bodybuilder can eat more than 5,000 calories a day because of the amount of muscle that they have. They need to eat a lot just to maintain their muscle.

Here are some exercises that will give you the best bang for your time.

Squat, Dead lift, lunges, Military press, Push-up, Bench Press, Lat Pull Down, Pull-up, Row, etc. Focus in multi-joint movement to involve more muscles.

2. Aerobic training: One way to boost your metabolism so that you are burning more calories is through interval training. Interval training consists of alternating between high intensity and low intensity training. For example, jog for 2 minutes to 30-second sprint. Repeat for 20 minutes.

Interval training is much more effective that steady state cardio e.i. 30 minutes running with the same speed. Interval training allows you to burn more calories while reducing your time.

3. Supportive Eating: Eating smaller meals through out the day can help boost your metabolism. Eating smaller meals every 3 hours helps fuel your body. Think about it for a second. I am sure that you know someone who eats all the time and yet are lean and you probably know someone who eats very little and yet the person is fat.

These tips alone can help you a lot of you follow my guidelines. Remember, losing weight too fast will not be a permanent weight loss. Take your time and commit to eating better and exercising and you will eventually lose that weight.

Quick tips: Limit your sugar, saturated fat, and hydrogenated fat. Drink plenty of water.

Good luck
