Thinking about taking diet pills...?

Question:
In addition to a healthy diet and exercise of course. My friend took Xantrex and she lost a lot of weight without diet and exercise, but she gained it all back. I am willing to put forth the effort into a good, healthy diet and exercise to lose the weight and keep it off before the summer. What do you guys think? Has anyone ever done the same thing? What were the results?

Answer:
You are always better off with a natural diet of healthy food, exercise and grounded mentality. Congratulations for being willing to put forth the hard work. You'll definitely keep if off doing it naturally. '-)
dont take hydroxycut, you will be up at 4am staring at the wall
Diet pills do take off some weight, but then your body gets used to them and they don't work anymore. I wouldn't do diet pills. Use the Seventeen workouts, they actually work :D Oh and my Seventeen magazine had an article about Diet Pills.
Unfortunately there's no short cut to weight loss. Yet. Diet pills might help initially, but nothing works so well as changing eating habits

I gained a bit of weight when I quit smoking. I increased my exercise tremendously, but didn't lose an ounce. I just ate more and worse. I tried eating lots of salads and again no results. Most regualr salad dressings have a ton of calories and whereas the salad is great, the dressing is so fattening it negates the effect of the fresh vegetables.

I only lost weight, and kept it off when I changed an eating habit. In my case, I eliminated sugar from my diet. As someone who usually had close to half my body weight with me in candy, I stopped eating sugar entiredly. After 3 days of withdrawal, I found that most sugar substitutes weren't bad if you weren't eating sugar.

I went on the Adkin's diet and lost 25 lbs. I kept it off because after stopping the diet, I never went back to eating tons of sugar again.

In my case, the bottom line was that I reduced my caloric intake enough to lose weight. So many of my calories came from sugar that eliminating it and eventually curtailing it's use made the difference to me.

The problem with pills is that there are many side effects that are unacceptable. There's a tremendous amount of research being done for weight loss pill, but so far, the stuff out today is more dangerous than helpful.

Talk to your doctor, or another doctor who knows about this. It's not rocket science, but does require a good amount of effort on your part.
don't, work it out
I have had great results with an all natural product called Isagenix. I have gone from a size 18-10 and I have kept the weight off for a year. Even through the Holidays.
