Which is healthier, starvation or diet pills?

I don't plan on starving myself or anything, but I NEED to lose at least 15-20 lbs for my job. I looked up my BMI, and I DO have the room to lose it. But I just can't! I work out more then an hour everyday, and my diet is average. I don't over eat, but I do eat normal things too (fast food a couple times a month/ a soda every once in a while) I've been researching diet pills, and I was thinking about useing Trimspa x32, but I AM under the age of 18, and don't want to cause a potential body damage. I've tried heathy diets, along with constant hardcore workouts, but nothing has worked for me... So I guess, what I am asking for as well as weight loss advice is,
are diet pills really as horrible as they sound. because they sound like they are so bad, they should be illegal. If they are really so horrible, would even a form of starvation be healthier then the pills?

NEVER starve yourself...you have to eat to lose weight, and you would have to starve yourself for a long period of time. Also, that would make you anorexic.

No matter what starvation is the #1 worst thing you could possibly do to your body.. And diet pills are not good, but not as bad..so if anything get the pills
neither, a heathly diet and exercise will change you must faster and keep it off, starvation will actually make you bloat because your body goes into starvation mode and keeps fat and diet pills are just horrible for your body and when you stop useing them it all come back or even more comes back so they both are the wrong ways to go ,

Starvation is bad, and it also risks you getting more overweight. When you starve yourself, you are more tempted to eat, so one day, you just might decide to go all out and eat junk food or sumtin, and thats bad. Diet pills are a scam. If you read the fine print, it says they only work with a normal diet and a normal workout (about an hour a day, like you do) so the only thing working is the workout and diet. You're just paying extra money (sometimes over 50 dollars) for a pill that doesn't work. Just keep working out and dieting and you should turn out ok. Try to do some crunches so you can tighten up the muscles in your tummy, and lose the extra fat around that area.
I'm a nurse. A little bit of both will help. Only eat small amounts of food and try diet pills. Also eat only foods that are good for you and in small amounts like I stated before. I think you will be OK and just remember, you'll have a lot of hungry days and nights but you will see results fast. I'm a vegan maybe try it until you lose the desired weight.
Continue with the diet and workouts, your body may be turning to muscle at the moment. There are safe natural supplements that you can try to avoid the pills. Try Slimfast shakes or a normal protein shake. I take V8 in place of some meals. Just make sure you are taking your vits and meeting all your nurtion needs. Ask your doctor if there is a better diet for you. Each body is different and you maybe keeping the sugar and fats longer. If worse comes to worse try a strict diabete diet for a cleansing/toxic flush, but talk to your doctor first.
Don't do diet pills, I did when I was 17 and I swear they messed with my hormones and now I have a lot of other issues.

If you starve you will gain the weight as soon as you start eating again, plus it is a lot of stress on your body.

Try doing the raw food diet, at least you will be putting some nutrience in your body. And darling, don't push yourself. Your health is worth more than any job. You can always find another job, but once you lose your health-- that's it. Be safe and take care :)

Starvation would be an even worse plan as your going to gain weight before you lose it, your body will hold on to the weight for as long as possible so it will take even longer to lose it...and you will immediately gain it back when you start eating, depending on how long you have to lose the weight why not try a cleansing diet...you can find one at any local health food store...I've done them before and just this last one i lost about 20 pounds and a pant size in 2 months you feel better when your on them as well, it takes a lot of discipline and forethought. Plus you need time to make your own meals etc.

when i was 16yrs old i started taking hydroxycut.. i lost 30 lbs in 3 months but then i put the weight back on because i could not afford them.. i am 20+ now and am taking them again,(the black pills) but i also have high blood pressure.. but i control and right down everytime i eat and when i exercise!! THESE PILLS ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE!! I have seen how people act and carry on while they are on them. Try green tea( not arizona) boil tea bags no sugar and chill and drink that instead of soda. lots of water.. try b-12 vitamins also 1 b4 every meal.. if you ared used to eating alot of food put half on one side and dump alot of salt over the other. that will force you to curb yourself. lots of exercise... and also if you do choose to use hydroxycut.. go to gnc talk to one of the employes the could answer your questions (ALL OF THEM) or type in at yahoo" side affects to hydroxycut" and see what others side effects people have gone threw.. GOOD LUCK>and it does not happen over night!!

Yes, there is not such a thing as the "safe" diet pill, and sterving wouldn work either.
If you are underage and MUST lose some few pounds, the best way is to follow the Atkins type of diet ( lots of protein like roast meat, soy bean derivatives, eggs etc), very little fat whenever possible (use cooking oil small amounts to cook your meals, dont eat bacon nor sausages, fatty ham etc), but above all, you will need some vitamin supplement such as Pharmaton 1 capsule daily, and calcium and zinc supplements (two tablets per day) AVOID COMPLETELY , starch derivatives like sugar, cookies, crackers, bread, and all kind of flour derivates.
You need to download a plan of 1,100 to 1,200 kilocalories per day from the páge smart diets.

Neither are a good idea. My friends cousin was 16 and went on diet pills. she lost a little bit of weight but became weak, she used them correctly and wasnt terribly skinny or anything.. but she caught some bad side effects.

and starving yourself is also not very good for your body.

motivation is a big key in weight loss. light work can make just as big a differnce as a hardcore workout... keep on your feet at home. play your fave music and dance in your room while cleanin your room or something (i may suggest shutting your bedroom door while doin this lol) or do minor exercise while watchin tv..

have a large breakfast then a normal lunch and dinner and u may not feel the need for snacks.. i eat when im bored so keep yourself entertained incase you share the same habit.

buy alot of fruit or veg that you can eat as snacks. i hate vegatable but i can eat certain foods with mushroom in etc and not even notice it. i love fruit and always sit there and eat apples/oranges etc... find food u like or try somthing new.. see if you like it, even if it looks hidious.. i love houmus but it looks like baby sick lol
